Birthday pie in Vegas?

Coming into town in a couple weeks for a birthday celebration, and the birthday girl strongly prefers pie over cake. Ideally I'd like to find a bakery where I can get a fresh fruit pie or tart of some sort and a more traditional birthday cake for the rest of us. Since I won't have a car, on or near the strip would be great, or some place that will deliver for a reasonable fee, although if the best options are further out there will probably be someone in our party with a car whom I can enlist to go pick it up. Thanks.

Try these folks - seems to be the place to go for pies in LV - however they are not on the strip.

Sun City Summerlin is a bit of a drive from the Strip (30-45 minutes one way).

Thanks. That may be a little too far off the strip for us but I will check it out.

If you are limited to the Strip, Jean Philippe at Bellagio or Aria does wonderful birthday cakes and smaller tarts. Their website has some photos of birthday cakes and you can order by phone. Be warned, I doubt it will come cheap.

Payard at Caesars also has great tarts and pastries, but I don't know if they do traditional birthday cakes.

Thanks for the suggestions! It's a milestone birthday for a close friend, so I don't mind spending a bit of $.
