Headed out there on Friday--anyone have suggestions for nice places for lunch?

We've eaten at Ava's several times and have enjoyed it.

Is that the pizza place on the main street that runs through town? Funny, I've never thought of eating there.

Yes. Italian but not just pizza. However, the pizza is very good. I like the fennel and arugula salad, meatballs, arugula and prosciutto pizza, mussels. We ended up there originally looking for a dog friendly patio with a craft beer or two (we have simple demands) and became return customers.

Crab Claw. The OP said "nice places" so I thought I'd skip it. It's fine for eating crabs with beer at a picnic table by the water watching the boats go by.

We sometimes take the ferry to Oxford when we're in that area. There are a couple of crab places on the water -- Masthead at Pier Street Marina and Schooners on the Creek are places we've been to. Not fine dining, but certainly good for crabs. And there's the Robert Morris Inn -- haven't been there in a gazillion years but it's right off the ferry in Oxford.
