  1. It won't be open till the beginning of next year but I'm so there!
Best Brisket in LA. And I do love that BBQ Pastrami when they have it. NIce people too,

    1. I SO Hope they open on the weekends. It was so infurating when the Mendecino Farms at 7th and Fig is only open M-F and then the food court closes at like 3p. Meanwhile there are lines out the door at Sprinkles and CPK right above them...

No. I talked to Neil about it last week. They just signed a lease recently, so it's pushed out to some time in 2014.

Yes, Thursday's Big Mista is at the C.C. F.M.
(Neil to me he intends to continue in C.C. after his brick and mortar is open.)

I see this place all the time at CCFM. Is it good? I always use that day to get my fix of hawaiian BBQ (like everyone else).

                  Very good, especially their brisket.

                      WM is correct.

                      The brisket is exceptional.

While you are at it, you should definitely grab some burnt ends too.

and grab the great BBQ Pastrami too if they have it because you won't find it there often.

                        1. re: wienermobile

And Brobdingnagian-sized beef ribs which they rarely offer.

And if his cousin is still making those red velvet cupcakes, then grab a few of those too along with the mac n cheese and the pineapple 'slaw.

            2. I was thinking of getting the ribs and pulled pork. How is that?

The Brisket is the best. It will stand up to the best Texas BBQs.
