Looking for a last great Portland lunch near Clear Creek Distillery (2389 NW Wilson) before driving to PDX. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Hmmm.

If you like banh mi and other Vietnamese specialties, LeLa's Bistro is really good and a great value. The woman who owns this place has parents who own a bakery and two banh mi shops on the east side (and I think they are the best banh mi in the city) - she has expanded the menu and created a very nice atmosphere in an old Victorian house: http://lelasbistro.com/

I'd suggest Wildwood (NW21st and Overton) if you want a nice sit down lunch (and they have parking): http://wildwoodrestaurant.com/

Serratto (which does a great dinner though I have never been for lunch) is also open for lunch a few blocks south on NW21st and Kearney: http://www.serratto.com/index.php

Red Onion is a good Thai place on NW 23rd and Northrup: http://redonionportland.com/home.html

      Second LeLa's.

Some people love this place - http://www.olympicprovisions.com/nort...

When I have to work in this part of town...and dont go to LeLa's, I drive out of area 5 minutes to either Gruner, Lardo East, or Grassa
