Your best bet is to check out the NJ dept of Agriculture's Jersey Fresh website http://www.jerseyfresh.nj.gov/agriculture/jerseyfresh/find/pickyourown.html They have a list of all the pick you own farms broken down by Counties. The website also has a list of farm stands as well as community farmers markets.
It is a little late in the season for strawberries, so be sure to call ahead to the farms that are close to you to make sure they still are doing the pick your own. Looks like although there are several farm stands in Bergen Co, none have pick your own strawberries. Nearest one I could spot was this in Wayne

We love Alstede's in Chester (Morris Co.) especially for the pick you own berries since they not only have strawberries, but also raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, and currents. You should note that the farm field where the berries are located is a short drive from their main store, which is on the edge of downtown Chester. I am sure they can give you directions to the berry fields.

I am so glad you enjoyed going to Alstede. Plan now to come back later in July for the amazing blueberries, gooseberries, and black as well as red raspberries! You won't be disappointed! They should be at their peak towards the end of the month. You can usually also pick peaches then too. Nothing beats farm fresh fruit on a hot summer day! Like you we just wash them and add a dollop of whip cream or creme fresh, and dig in.
