Israeli salad

How long do you like for it to marinate in the oil and lemon juice before eating?

    I have always served it immediately but I had some leftover from dinner a couple weeks and left it in the fridge overnight for lunch and was surprised by how much sweeter it tasted. Tomatoes are the only thing I would not keep in the fridge overnight.

      Perhaps you mean that the flavour edge, the brightness,
      had gone off everything .

      This salad might be very good as a marinated salad if you experimented for a while.

      Temperature Quality of ingredients and teperature at which served are important .

      I don't really marinate it. I toss and serve.
