Saffron chicken source
Does anybody know the source of Saffron's chicken? My guess would be that they use cheap, intensively farmed birds. I'd be happy to learn that I am mistaken.
To add: I'm a bit surprised at your guess. My guess would have been the opposite considering the attention Su Mei Yu pays to the quality of her ingredients. You may like Saffron's recipes or not, but one thing I consider inarguably good about this local institution is quality, cleanliness, and freshness.
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. But, I will recommend that you stay away from that place. The toughest chicken ever.
