10-12 miles is most of Westchester County and eastern Rockland county. You may want to be a bit more specific such as Tarrytown to White Plains, and local Hudson towns.

We live in rockland and do our utmost to avoid! I'm trying not to go as far as portchester, which we love however. possibly south, along the river?? white plains would also be A-OK. or north!!

      Many thanks

Sweet Grass Grill has lots of good vegetarian options and also has a "Meatless Mondays" tasting menu!

I really like this place. On an early summer afternoon or evening, you can sit outside under an umbrella on Tarrytown's best, widest sidewalk, facing down the hill toward the Hudson River and the warm light from the water and the setting sun. Get a glass of Prosecco and watch the bubbles lift and people passing; try one of their terrific small plates or sides (the wheatberry salad is good and different). I love this place for more than just the food.
