I can imagine the comments about their choices. :-)

  1. I like to think I keep reasonably up-to-date with "best" restaurants in the capital - but I've only even heard of two of that list and I suspect they wouldnt be making most folk's "best" list.

I thought it wasn't a bad effort - I have heard of all but Salon and I believe many have been mentioned here. I aso thought Paris and Sydney looked pretty represetative of what has been talked about in those cities. so overall some lists with reasonable credibility.

    2. That isn't a bad list to be fair. The Clove Club and Kitchen Table are both superb and I had my dish at the month at Ceviche the other week.

Reports from the Quality chop house have been universally positive.

What, that I like three restaurants I have previously reviewed positively on the board? It's hardly voodoo.

It's a surprisingly good list. Nice mix of cutting-edge with comforting food you may want to eat.

Conde Nast was always related to paying for listing though. It would be interesting to know if that's the case here...

      2. I'm all for more ramen in London, but Bone Daddies isn't a great restaurant, unless judged solely on it's merits relative to other ramen joints in London.
