Hello All! I am having several relatives and friends come in from out of town for my 30th birthday. I am looking for a place with a good atmosphere and down-to-earth vibe. My guests love to eat a lot of good food and drink a considerable amount too. Can anyone recommend some places (I'm probably considering the South Side and Strip District but am willing to go downtown as well. Price isn't necessarily an issue but I'd like to stick to around 25 dollars for an entree. Thanks for your help in advance!

downtown, meat & potatoes. Strip district, kaya. Have you thought of Lawrenceville? if so, i'd throw in piccolo forno (although it's a small space), Tamari (outside deck or upstairs).
