Buenos Aires Grill Northridge

Anyone been here recently? I was looking for someplace new in Northridge and this restaurant came to mind but I can't figure out where I heard of it.

8856 Corbin Ave. Northridge, CA 91324

  1. Have not been but have gone to their sister restaurant/ market, Mercado Buenos Aires in Van Nuys. The steaks are fantastic there. I just hope the service isn't as awful as Mercado Buenos Aires.

What has been your experience with the service? I was there the evening of May 25 and it was packed. Service was pleasant.

At the Mercado Buenos Aires I've only been there during the day and I go in knowing I'll be sitting there for a while before the servers deign to pay attention to you. Then they sit around watching the soccer games and talking to each other. Food is what keeps me going back there.

      1. This is an occasional lunch spot for my office crew. It gets a thumbs up from us.

Will be trying it for dinner soon to see how it holds up for a proper meal as opposed to a quick-ish lunch.

        1. It was one of our favorites, food wise, but the service is not the best. The servers like to stand behind the bar and talk amongst each other. there was many a time when I had to repeatedly ask for a drink refill, or to ask for the check. Then we had some friends go and experience something unhygienic a few months ago so we stopped going after that.

I eat here once a month or so and have for years. Fantastic steaks and empanadas and good wine...service is hit or miss but the prices and food quality are outstanding.
