I buy this now from Burgers Smokehouse, but wondering if anyone locally offers it

The closer to West Chester PA/Wilmington DE the better

Ever seen it at Costco etc?

Also, I have one butcher where I can order uncut slabs of bacon, but would appreciate other sources

FCF, stick to Burgers, best there is, Costco doesn't carry it, I've never seen it anywhere except in a few catalogues, IMHO Burgers is the best. Chewingthethefat, here!!

Thanks!...Yeah, so far, I tend to agree. I love Burgers products. Like most MailOrder firms, a bit pricey, but not outrageous, like some. but I gotta wonder what all these Amish/Mennonite folks do with the stuff they sell in the local markets (and from where they get it)

Hey Chewy!.not sure how else to get his to you. Just to let you know that you and Joe are sadly missed. If you lurk under a pseudonym, you'll even see there's a thread dedicated to you 2..hope we see you back "over the fence" some day

You can try Bringhurst Meats in Berlin NJ. They are full-service butchers. I know they do bacon, don't know about jowls.

I'll take that too......pure hog jowl is slightly different but guanciale is good too

any good Italian market would carry guanciale. Have you tried asking for pork cheeks? same thing different name.
