  1. Yet another burger place. Despite all the pressure being put on fast food as unhealthy, the good 'ol greasy burger with cheese and bacon isn't losing any ground in Austin.

Not that it has anything to do with this post, but I've renamed Burnet Rd to Burgernet Rd. I thought we were getting a French Bistro in the old Austin Diner location, but even better - FRIED CHICKEN!!!

Boardwalk might be in striking distance for lunch for me, yet there are no prices on the menu. Do you truly get to "build your own burger" or just "order it my way?"

i found this picture of the menu from yelp - "build it just how you like it"

i live real close by and will definitely check it out to see how it compares to all the other bazillion fast food burger concepts in town..

Hmmm - looks intriguing. Sounds like you just tell them what you want on it, rather than preparing it yourself (a al Burger Chef in the late 70s). Seems weird that you can get unlimited toppings, but then they have their signature burgers for a higher price.......I may go just for the fries!
