Duke's Mayo in NYC

Does anyone know where I can buy a jar of Duke's mayo in Manhattan?

  1. Oliverstreet,

I am writing from New England, but if there are Dollar Tree chain stores anywhere in Manhattan, check there. I see them often on shelf as the "house brand" of mayo around here. Little jars, but they do the trick.

I'm in New Jersey and have been to a few Dollar Tree stores....never seen Duke Mayonnaise there......but rumor has it Family Dollar store carry it. I checked once and they did not have it.

oddly, on my last trip to Pinehurst, I picked up four jars to bring home. My family thought I was nuts.

        I live in Florida -
I received a nice e-mail reply to my question of where to buy the mayonnaise

        Dollar Tree

      2. can i ask what is so special about Duke's mayo?
If it tastes like the mayo in Europe, I want to know where I can find it too...although Japanese mayo is a good replacement.

No, It is similar to hellman's but a tad lighter and a bit heavier on the vinegar. I personally prefer it to hellman's.

        2. I don't think u can find it in nyc.

In SouthFlorida I have only been able to find large jars of the stuff

          1. I did find it in a NJ Dollar Tree store, and picked up a jar just two weeks go for my first taste of this much hyped mayo.

It wasn't bad, not at all, but it's nowhere near as good as Hellman's in taste or texture. I suppose I'd choose it over Kraft or other lesser brands, but Hellman's would still be my go-to.

...but of course, your mileage may vary.

              I agree completely. It's a substitute for when I can't get Hellman's.
