I did such a poor job of setting the context in my last post on this topic that I decided to give it a try again.................thanks again to Parigi for the feedback on that thread

so let me re-phrase:

We just discovered Les Pipos is closed over our August dates - as a point of reference we were very happy with trying to dine there.......

We are looking for something along these lines - cozy old world bistro atmosphere, a good a la carte menu to accommodate the veggie and 14 year old amongst us, a great steak for dad and the ability to make a rez a plus

Now I haven't vetted all for the August issue but my list I think is:

Au Pied de Fouet (rue Babylone location)
Au 35 rue Jacobs
L'Auberge Bressane
L'Epicuriste
Astier
Florimond
Moissonier
Chez Fernand

Would love to hear thoughts..................

Merci

David
