Recs for Indian?

Leo in BR May 31, 2013 01:33 PM

Meeting a buddy in Vegas who lives in Hawaii and is missing good Indian food - what are some recs? Been reading about Mint and that sounds good, but don't want to miss something better. We're staying downtown, but have a car. Thanks for any advice!

I rather liked Origins India - it is very close to the Hard Rock Casino and you can get a Groupon for it. Certainly better than the casino Indian restos.

After going twice I've pretty much written off Origin India. The service there has been spotty and the last time we were there our appetizer came out cold.

I really like Mint Bistro and would reccomend it. Aside from the traditional Indian offerings they offer some different dishes (Nepalese?) as well. I also like India Palace (on Swenson). Not that it matters but my friend who is from India usually gets her take out from India Palace.

Stick with Mint. It's easily the best Indian food in town.
