Louisville, KY - Mexican

A long time ago (in the 70's) I ate a couple of times at a Mexican restaurant that was on Bardstown Rd. in an older section of Louisville. I think it was called the Pa Que Neu or something like that. It was the first Mexican restaurant I ever ate in and have fond memories of it. Does anyone know if it still is open or not?

  1. I have lived in the Louisville area for more than 20 years and have never heard of the restaurant. However, we do have a number of very good Mexican and Latino restaurants. Let me know if you'd like recs.

    1. I'm going in a few weeks and would love some recommendations

      1. My favorite in Louisville has to be a hole in the wall right near Churchill Downs, it used to be La Tapitia but the name is now La Molcajete,Excellent food...I recommend this place highly

Thanks so much for this rec. I went the other night and the food was great. No English spoken but really good authentic Mexican
