Pine Restaurant, Hanover Inn

Has anyone eaten there lately? Thoughts?

Great cocktails and extensive wine list, but the food suffers from the same problem that afflicts all of the "fine dining" establishments in the Upper Valley: inconsistent, over-priced and a serious lack of imagination. I would say that the same issues plague Carpenter & Main, the Norwich Inn, Market Table, Simon Pearce, Exilr and the Tip Top. Sad face.

      Having eaten there in May, I thought that the ideal strategy for this, and other similar restaurants we ate at during our college tour, would be to stick to the appetizers. They were far more interesting than the main I had, as far as I remember...
