If you go to BCD Tofu House in Queens make sure you go to the real one in Bayside, not the fake one on 150th.

Natural Tofu Restaurant on Queens Blvd in Sunnyside (10 mins or so by subway from Midtown by subway). Excellent soondubu chigae and lots of combinations available.

For K-Town, yeah, I'd have to go with BCD's soondubu jjigae.

So Kong Dong in Fort Lee, NJ is an option, although, i wouldn't say it's so much better than BCD that it'd be worth the trip for that alone.

NY Tofu House in the east village is also known as So Kong Dong, I guess they wanted a more marketable name. It's pretty good too.

Is it still open? Last week it looked like they were shut down by the DOH.

Not sure, it's been at least a month since I've been.

Thanks so much for these recs! We tried BCD last night and it was awesome. Walked by NY Tofu today and it's definitely open (or reopened). Will try that soon.
