Going to be down there in October and I'm planning to do a little fishing. Do ya'll know of any places that will cook your fish for you?

Cool, Pattigeorge's is not the kind of place I would expect to see folks walking in with a sack full of fish. We are staying within easy walking distance and I will definitely inquire if I manage to get a nice fish or two.

I do it all the time. You need to have the fish cleaned, though, when you bring it. I go out with a captain and he does that.

Do you like Walt's pretty well? We went to Captain Brian's last year for our fried seafood fix.

A plus for Captain Brian, his stone crabs in season, retail fish case, his fried seafood, and the best grouper reuben in the area.

On LBK Mar Vista will cook your catch, also Don Giovanni also on Longboat is a good Italian place that cooks your fish. I think on Bradenton Beach, the Bridgetender Inn may still cook your catch.
