Seeking lobster or fresh grilled fish dinner in W. Springfield or nearby town...

We know that the area is not near the ocean but we have a desire for seafood...

I noticed 2 fish market/restaurant combos- Masse's Ocean Bar and Grill and Schemerhorns. Would either have good 2 pound lobsters?

How's Currents in the Marriott?

Any other suggestions?

If your looking for fried this is not the place and they do not have lobster but IMO this is the best restaurant in West Springfield and they do have fish dishes

It's tough to think of too many choices in the W. Springfield area (other than the two you mentioned, which are nothing to brag about), but If your definition of "nearby" includes the Windsor area of Connecticut, I'd recommend Maine seafood. It's just a short distance from I-91 at the Warehouse Pt. exit.

They have a number of broiled (not grilled) seafood choices, and they advertise 1 1/2 lb. lobsters but say "larger lobsters are available."

It's a casual setting and you can expect a wait on weekends.
