Italian Sausage

Does anyone know where I can buy fresh Italian Sausage in Raleigh NC, area used to buy it from a Deli downtown but they closed. Thanks

  1. In Wake Forest you can try they make their own Fresh Sausage.

    1. I love Firsthand (formerly Farmhand) Foods' spicy Italian sausage. They only use locally sourced pasture raised pork. Very fairly priced.

      1. We miss Conti's, too. I got some good Italian sausage at Antonio's in Lafayette Village, on Falls of Neuse near 540. I tried both sweet and hot from Antonio's and prefer the sweet.

Capri Flavors in Morrisville is wonderful Italian market but I don't remember seeing any sausage there.

Capri Flavors does have a wonderful selection of sausages... I can't get enough of it. It is in the frozen section. And, related, the salami is addictive. It is a miracle I don't weight 500 pounds.

        2. Just saw post about Lafayette Village that mentioned Antonio's is now closed. Too bad. It was the best we'd found anywhere around.

          1. I do know Weaver St sells local Italian sausage and so does the Carrboro Farmer's Market, sorry I don't have the names but if you ring/check the website you could find if the purveyors come/sell to Raleigh.
