New foodie event on Saturday nights in Old Town Scottsdale

The Edible Exchange company will be brining eight gourmet food trucks to the parking lot at Fifth Avenue and Goldwater Boulevard from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. every Saturday night for the next year. The organizers envision evenings with art and artists, musicians, great food and foodies together in an effort to bring the arts and streets alive in Old Town Scottsdale, in particular Fifth Ave. The soft opening was last Saturday, with 500 people attending. The official launch is June 8th. Check out

  1. Bringing, not brining, lol!

    1. Well, you brought it to my attention! That looks really fun. I'm new to the area and would definitely make the trek from Ahwatukee to check this out.
      Thanks for sharing!

      1. Good to know! I wonder if they'll brave the heat tonight?

I will be checking them out soon!

Yes, it is going on tonight! They had 400 people last week so word must be getting around.

Still 110 degrees outside. Too much for me tonight.

Outdoor gatherings aren't the sort of thing I'd expect to succeed over the course of a Phoenix summer. You get big opening crowds because of the novelty, but they diminish rapidly because nobody wants to suffer the heat more than once.
