I have looked on here for posts regarding this but they are quite dated, so I thought I'd start another thread. In your humble opinions, where is the best liver and onions these days in the Twin Cities Metro area ?
I quite like the beef liver at the Monte Carlo. But, I'll confess, I have not eaten it anywhere else in the Twin Cities, so my local experience is severely limited.
I can't say if it's the best or not, but my father orders liver and onions every time we go to Nye's Polonaise Room.

Red Stag used to do a superb one. It's off the menu.
Ely's East has had it and it was good...but it's a special.
I thought Jax had it, but looking at their menu, that looks like a big negative.
FWIW Glockenspiel has them on their menu.
