Good Eats Near Belmont Park

  • 6

Tried the search thingy but didn't come up with much.

Taking the monsters to BP and seeking recommendations for breakfast and lunch in the near vicinity. Any cuisine is fine.

TIA. :)

Excellent! Thank you for so many recommendations from which to choose, BC!

We've never been before. I'm glad to hear it's fun. :)

Though I second all BC's rec's, I just want to point out that all of these are in Pacific Beach, the closest being about a mile from Belmont Park. Not an issue if you're driving, but younger kids might find it a bit of a walk from the park. Especially hungry, younger kids ;)
Unfortunately there is not a thing worth your time right beside Belmont Park. Maybe the Roberto's, but the rest is crap...
        I'd also add:
Breakfast - Breakfast Burritos at La Playa (South PB), Pastries/Cinnamon Buns at Baked (North Mission Beach)
Lunch - Cafe Mono for sandwiches, California Kebab for great beer choices for the adults and solid Mediterranean inspired options.

Thanks for the warning and the additional recommendations. We're driving, so that won't be a problem.

And I totally know what you mean about boardwalk food.

        1. Marcy's Taco Shop has some of my favorite al pastor tacos in SD. If you're in the mood for taco shop fare.
