Family together for daughter's graduation from Oberlin. 1 vegetarian, 1 pescatarian, 1 doesn't eat red meat, 2 good with almost anything. Suggestions for a restaurant that will please all of them? Aiming for Saturday night (5/25)...

I'm thinking the Greenhouse Tavern. There's interesting options for all of your categories on the menu. I'd make reservations fast for a saturday night though.

I'm surprised. I didn't think GT was known for vegetarian fare? Do they always (referring to the times you have been there) have vegetarian items on the menu? Ever anything vegan? TIA for the info!

Not the OP, but last time I was at Greenhouse their vegetarian/vegan options were limited--maybe 1 app, 1 entree. They served schmaltz instead of butter w the bread (which may be a selling point for some non-veg folks...) Food was good tho.

Alternatively, Cowell and Hubbard is a special occasion-type place w many veg options

Seriously? Sawyer and his wife were vegan for over a year, there are a NUMBER of vegan and vegetarian options on his menu.

the current menu has many vegetarian options, but vegan choices seem very limited -- a lot of cheese in there.

I don't think the online is the most updated. Plus I'm *pretty* sure they have a vegan special every single day. I really think a vegan would do fine there. JMO.

Thanks. I did see the online menu is only a sample and, due to the fact they are heavy into local and seasonal ingredients, changes frequently. Maybe we'll give it a whirl one night and see. If there isn't an appealing entree I could probably put some appetizers together to get the job done. Thanks for the responses!
