Downtown Denver Mexican

stiv99 May 20, 2013 05:36 PM

I will be in downtown Denver (without a car) in late July for one night. Wondering if there are any food-worthy Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood? Tamayo appears to get the highest Zagat review, but I'd like to hear any local opinions.

Tamayo is okay. It's high end food. I think there is El Noa Noa - I know there is one on Santa Fe, but I think there is something like that in downtown, too. Good luck! There's always the Rio - it's good, but probably more Americanized Mexican. And there is a limit of 3 on their margarita's (they are potent).
