Have to arrange a dinner in Chicago for about 20 ladies (will be attending a conference and staying at Chicago Hilton). Probably need a separate room and would like to keep cost around $50-$60 per person. Suggestions?

Which "Chicago Hilton" are you referring to? Hilton has at least 15 properties in Chicago, six of which have "Hilton Chicago" in their name.

        Thanks.

Mercat a la Planxa is across the street from the hotel and is widely regarded as Chicago's best tapas restaurant. According to their Opentable listing, they have a private dining space, La Veranda, that overlooks the main dining room and seats up to 30 people. www.mercatchicago.com

The designated contact for private parties at restaurants will try to work with you to come up with a plan that meets your budget. You'll find extensive information and tips on arranging private parties in the discussion at www.chow.com/topics/799823

You might also discuss your needs with the concierge at the hotel. They are often very helpful and they know what's nearby.

Is there a recommendation for a good pizza place that can accommodate 20 people near the Hilton Chicago on S Michigan or a cab ride away?

There's a Lou Malnati's - one of our best examples of Chicago-style - 2 streets West of the Hotel on State Street.

Good recommendation. The Lou Malnati's at 8th and State is indeed excellent and close by.

You may be able to reserve the smaller dining area at that Malnatti's exclusively for your group. (When you enter that Malnattis, there is a small dining room off to the right, that is often closed, except when they are busy, and there main room to the left.)
