The Luxury

Got to try out Andrew Weissman's new joint yesterday. Had the cripsy fish Bahn Mi, was ridiculously good. Fresh roll, crispy fish with veggies and a fried egg on top. Can't wait to work my way through the menu.
There's 5 or 6 sandwiches and some salads.
Nice, casual atmosphere right on the river.

  1. Agree completely, though would advise going now before the 100 degree temps begin as it's all outdoors.
    Minnie's should be very close to opening as well. Very curious to see what he did with the old Liberty Bar.

    1. Another interesting newcomer should be Tuk Tuk, not sure when it's going to be open, but it's going to be near The Pearl, the chef is David Gilbert (formerly of Sustanio) and will feature upscale Asian street food.
      Agree about The Luxury, not sure how appealing it's going to be in another few weeks, can't see eating lunch there and going back to work all sweaty.

      1. Glad to know that Dave Gilbert has surfaced. Took a class with him and Pyles on grilling, then his pastry chef from Sustenio gave a chocolate class I attended. Where will Tuk Tuk be? Thanks for the heads-up.

          Broadway on the block just south of Grayson, sounds like it's a joint venture with The Friendly Spot...really looking forward to this!
