Meat Only Chilli

Anyone have any sugggestions for a meat only chilli (no beans)? And Allstonian is right, I should have been more specific, I want restaurant chilli suggestions. Thanks

    Haven't had it, but I noticed that they had Texas chili at Lone Star Taco Bar in Allston when I was there yesterday.

      IIRC Sunset has a Texas Chili.

        Sidebar on Bromfield St in Downtown Crossing has a very good beanless chili

          Redbones definitely has Texas-style chili. B, my eating partner, spent many years at UT so we always notice when we see Texas-style around these parts. Of course, I can't remember any others at the moment. Will rack my puny brain.

            I saw a beanless chili at Phoenix Landing last week. I didn't taste it, but I found that the food at PL is better than it has to be, at least at lunch. My fish tacos were tasty and huge. They used to have a seared tofu sandwich that was my go-to but it's no longer on the new menu.

            Pretty sure I've had a texas chili (made with brisket and NEVER with beans at All Star that was pretty good. Can't think of another beanless Chili I've seen in Boston.

              This is the best (only) one I have found here. NYC has Manhattan Chili Company's "Real McCoy" in several locations down there, or you can find a very good copycat recipe if you wish to make it at home.

                Are you looking for recipes (in which case this should be moved to the Home Cooking board) or for Boston-area restaurants that serve a meat-only chili?

                    You could go the whole hog and make New Mexico style carne adovada. Pork, lots of dried chilies, onion, garlic and salt. No added water, slow cooked for a couple of hours in the oven. Used more as a condiment than as a main course.
