Ideas to use marinated sweet garlic?

Hi all,

On a recent trip to Southern Italy I purchased some garlic cloves that are vacuum sealed in a bag with some sort of marinade. They are very soft and sweet. I loved the garlic just on some small pieces of bread, but now that I have a small bag full I'm trying to figure out how I can use it? Any ideas? I'm sure this is a typical ingredient in many italian dishes, but aside from Bruschetta I'm at a loss :)

    Begs for a take on a Gibson martini. Good gin, not vodka.

      In small amounts I'd mash the cloves and smear on the bread I'm using for a grilled cheese.
      Mashed in salad dressing, in a very simple pasta or rice dish, on steak, on pizza dough before the toppings.

      I'd use them as a mashed, spreadable flavoring where garlic would pair well with the dish.

        I'd use them as a counterpoint with a charcuterie plate... maybe some nice cornichons and olives as well. Maybe they'd be good as the base for a fresh white pizza too.
