Sport Pepper availability, DTW

I'm putting together a hot dog menu for the Red Wings v. Black Hawks playoffs. The Detroit Coney Island dog is locked in. But I've been unable to locate a source for Sport Peppers to garnish the Chicago Dog. Any area hounds see them on grocery shelves?

I, too, am looking for them. I was able to find them once a few years ago at both the Meijer at 14 & Coolidge and at Market Square at 14 & Southfield, but haven't been able to find them since.

Really, no longer at Meijer? :-(
I think Nino Salvaggio's had them, too. I'll check this weekend if that is not too late.

I've seen them in the Mexican section at Carnival and the pickle section other places. Jarred of course.

Well, since Hippos; and Johnny Dogs in Munising use jarred, I'd be okay with finding that type. :)

GFS Marketplace, if you want a lot of them. I saw them over the weekend, in Clinton Twp, of all places, but you could call ahead.

Relatively close by me, missmind. Thanks for the tip. If in a gallon container, I'll just seperate out what I need, then gift the rest to family, friends and neighbors. lol
