anyone been? they were handing out sushi samples. i'm not sure about walgreen's sushi. the sample with Krab inside out maki with fried onions on top (i didn't try. sorry!). there also appeared to be a case of prepared foods, a liquor store, juice/smoothie bar, and yogurt machines, i think......

Are their prices for generic sushi as bad as for generic meds?

Yes, the wellbutrin roll...oops, bupropion roll was outrageously expensive. :)

Was the requisite pan handler out front? I think they are standard issue for Walgreens. That should help to create a nice atmosphere for a scary sushi lunch.

Didn't realize that the Boston store had opened. They'll be giving the same makeover to the Malden Center store and I'm curious how it will all turn out.

Sushi at a Walgreens? That's either an awesome step forward, or a sure sign of the impending apocalypse.

I tried the sample and the fried onions just seemed so out of place. And this is coming from someone who doesn't mind creative maki so long as the fish is halfway decent.

I had some brown rice salmon maki. Tasted no different/better/worse than any grocery store sushi.
