Huntington beach?

hungree May 8, 2013 02:35 PM

All the threads seem to indicate there is nothing good for lunch in Huntington Beach by the pier---is it really all touristy and not worth it? If you had 1 lunch where would it be? Trying to walk from the Hyatt. We are coming from SF. Open to fish, mexican, and anything else except for italian and japanese.

TK Burger if you are ok with casual. It's in the same vein as a fast food burger, but a good one.

Ruby's at the end of the pier is nice for a casual inexpensive lunch. Burgers and other diner-type food. Dukes is so touristy as are most of the restaurants near the pier but it is on the beach.

Second 25 Degrees. Also Sandy's Beach Grill at the base of the pier is good. Dukes upstairs from Sandy's is good.

Make the short trip to Harbor House Cafe on PCH in Sunset Beach. Excellent American diner-style food.

Ruby's at the end of the pier has an A++ view, is fun, plus has good service and tasty hamburgers. I go there most of the time when I am in HB.
