Open Late and Excellent on a Sunday-please help [San Francisco]

I am planning my first trip to SF and am looking for an excellent restaurant open at 10 pm on Sunday night. I had reservations at Ame for 9:30 but do not think I will be able to get there in time as I am doing the evening Alcatraz tour and need to get back to the Clift Hotel to change for dinner. I'm looking for American, Californian, seafood. If the restaurant was casual (wear I can wear jeans and sneakers) and in the vicinity if Pier 33 it could be earlier. Thank you so much for any help.

  1. If I'm not out of date:

    Flour + Water, midnight
    Hog & Rocks, midnight
    Lers Ros, midnight
    Nopa, 1am
    Yuet Lee, midnight
    Zuni Cafe, 11pm

Those places are all coder casual, no need to change.

I thought Zuni was open until midnight on Sunday.

No, only on Fridays and Saturdays. Closed Mondays. Other nights 11.

flour and water closes at 11 sun-wed

      3. You can wear jeans and sneakers at Ame if you want. You might get a snooty glare from snobby guests, but the restaurant staff won't care.

        1. I feel like I always answer Nopa to this question, but it is by far my favorite option for open late and casual wear. not very close to Pier 33 though.

Pier 33 is a bad starting point any time, and really bad late on a Sunday. Closest good option open past 10:00 might be Rose Pistola (11:00).

i feel like many of the north beach places (like e tutto qua, new sun hong kong) stay open very late on weekends, is there really that much of dropoff between weekends and weeknights?

Z&Y is open until 11, Yuet Lee until midnight, but the request was for American, Californian, seafood.

          2. RN74 in the Financial District.

            1. Excellent I made reservations at Zuni Cafe and moved Ame to Monday. I also have reservations at Atelier Crenn. I would love another dinner suggestion for the Saturday night, the day I arrive
