Two Lunches, Two Dinners in Piemonte Next Weekend
We will be visiting Piemonte next weekend and will be eating two dinners and two lunches in and around Alba. We fly into Torino next Friday and will drive to our B&B in Alba. For friday dinner, we're going to try to eat at OSTERIA DEI SOGNATORI, which I understand does not take reservations, for Barbaresco a Tavola. On Saturday, we plan to do the Alba market in the morning and then head to Cossano Belbo for Sagra degli In, a food and wine festival, where we will likely snack and possibly have lunch or dinner. The next morning, we're driving through Sommariva del Bosco on our way back to Torino for Amel Amel - a honey festival.
Are there any great lunch or dinner spots that we should hit along the way? We are very adventurous eaters, although my husband does not eat mammals (beef, pork, rabbit, etc.), and I am pregnant so cannot drink (much) alcohol or eat some cheeses. For Barbaresco a Tavola, I'm going to eat but will not be tasting many of the wines.
