My brother and sister-in-law are coming to town for a few days. They have reservations at Nobu for one evenings dinner. They just want real deal good food for b/l/d the rest of the time. Does not have to be pricey just your favorite spots. They are staying at LeParc just off La Cienega.

Thanks!
Lon

For great coffee shop food, try Jan's on Beverly just east of La Cienega.

Beer list is usually a well-curated (read: short) yet great list.

Real Food Daily on La Cienega for great vegan and the best vegan nachos ever!

The Fish Grill on Beverly Blvd. For fantastic grilled fish.

Canter's deli on Fairfax. Just because.

Schwartz kosher bakery on Fairfax for their danishes.

On La Cienega at Holloway, at the northerly portion of the CVS store is Weho Bistro.
Very good food, even better value.
Weekend brunch/lunch generally has a wait.
            Dinner is my favorite though.
Make a delicious bread pudding if that might interest for dessert.
Lots of outdoor patio seating, plus the use of the CVS parking lot adjacent to it, accessed from Holloway.

Love Carney's. I'm starting to crave a chili-dog right now.
I've heard about the Griddle and will probably go another time as I hear their portions are huge and my sister in law prefers light breakfasts.

Just looked up both on line. My mouth is watering right now. Can't wait to try both.
