Hi,

I'm visiting London in September and am looking for restaurant recs. I'm interested in the must-not-miss places, traditional pubs, afternoon tea, etc. There are so many options I have no idea where to start. Any recommendations for special evenings out, quick, inexpensive lunches, tea, fish and chips, Indian, etc.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The search facility - always a good place to start.

My guess is you'll be visiting some of the great museums in London. Some of them have very good places to eat. I especially like the beautiful cafe at the V&A and can recommend that. The Tate Modern has a few good spots, too.

Wherever you're roaming, if you see a Pret A Manger, it's a good, inexpensive lunch - both hot and cold, interesting sandwiches.

A good list of fish and chip places:

Some are a bit out of the way, but Master's is not.

Best help I can suggest is that you start by using the search facility - depending on the terms you use, it'll find you the types of foods you want eat, the localities they might be in and likely costs.
