I need to bring cole slaw to a small BBQ tomorrow night, but won't have the time to make it myself. Does anyone know where I can purchase good creamy cole slaw either downtown or in the Yonge St area, anywhere from York Mills to 16th?

  1. Does it have to be creamy? If not, any of the Pickle Barrel restaurants has what most consider to be a good cole slaw. There is a Pickle Barrel at Centrepoint Mall at Yonge & Steeles.

Thanks FG. I would prefer creamy because I think it goes better with pulled pork.

    2. not far from Yonge (either Eglinton or Bloor), Cumbraes has a fantastic red cabbage coleslaw if you're looking for a vinegar-based one.

      1. I love the ones at 'Nando's' - the Portuguese Chicken place. Unlike most slaw, Nando's sweetish and not tart at all.
Think there's a location on 939 Eglington East.
