OC Neapolitan Pizza

Certified Pizza y Vino in Rancho Santa Margarita is as good as ever per my dinner on Friday.

Fuoco in Fullerton is now certified as well. Any reports?

  1. Went to Fuoco this weekend and loved the pizza. The pie was reminiscent of Ortica but subtle differences
    - the pie was larger
    - soupier in the middle which was fine just an observation
    - crust and under carriage did not have an many dark spots and bubbles
    - the crust had an awesome chew and flavor

    We'd go back there in a heartbeat. Had the margherita and the funghi y salsiccia. Thoroughly enjoyed the pizza but might ask them to cook a touch longer the next time.

      Have you been to Pizza y Vino before? If so, please compare the 2.

        I have never been to Pizza y Vino before.

        I prefer Fuoco over Ortica and Ecco.

        Attached is the upskirt from earlier today. It's a d'frent beast vs. Ortica, much more Sotto, less Mozza.

      3. If you ask them to cook a bit longer, they will do it.

        You have to try their desserts. All made in house, except the
        gelato dishes.
