Seafood/fish with terrasse

  • 14

A friend is coming back to town and wants fish outdoors. She really likes Milos but wants to try something new and with a terrasse. Jardin de Panos disappointed me the last few times. Le filet was terrific but this was close to opening time so wondering if it's still good. Does Kitchen Galerie Poisson have a terrasse? Does current Joe Beef menu have a lot of seafood/fish items? Thanks for any help!

Yes, am leaning there but am worried there won't be enough fish choices...Thanks for the rec!

Tasso bar à mezze on St-Denis has a lot of fish choices and a terrace. I haven't been but it looks alright when I walk by and in it's last incarnation as a grilled fish restaurant, Psarotaverna du symposium, the fish was very good. Might be a bit pricey.

That sounds interesting, and Milos wasn't that cheap either soooo.... Thank you for the idear.

I'd normally push for Filet, but with the tent at Joe Beef it can be a safer choice. Even if it rains you'll still have a nice spot outside.

Hmmm... Good point. Will keep that in mind too. Thank you.

        3. Le Filet was putting up a small terrace when I went there to eat Friday. A great choice for small plate seafood dishes.

That would be nice, across from Jeanne-Mance Park (I believe there is a view onto Mont-Royal?) It is on Mont-Royal, so some traffic, but it is right at one end so not the busiest part.

How about Namos, has it got a terrasse (in the back)?

Oh, there's an idear, too...in some reviews I've scanned, they mention a terrace. Thank you.

Good to hear a recent review. Thank you.

            3. Not an outright fish joint, but Club Espagnol has a terrace out back and has a range of seafood plates and tapas.
Not earthshattering, but fun to share.
