Liquor + Chocolate?

My friend's 21st birthday is coming up, and I'm looking for a gift that combines liquor and chocolate in a classy way. I'm looking for something unique and found everywhere (e.g Alban Berg). Does anyone know of any places in Chicago to buy good quality liquor-infused/filled chocolates/cakes/etc?

Any other suggestions of unique food items appreciated!

The Belgian chocolates at Piron in Evanston are superb (and would make a unique and classy gift), but I don't think any of them are liquor-filled. (I'm not aware of any others in the Chicago area that are.) Maybe you could create a gift basket combining their chocolates with a bottle of something?

    BELGIAN CHOCOLATIER PIRON, INC.

Vosges Haut-Chocolat. They have truffles with flavorings such as Krug Champagne or whiskey, along with chocolate bars, caramels, and other items. They also have gift packages such as "Beer + Bacon": 2 Mo's® Milk Chocolate Bacon Bars, Flying Bacon + Chocolate Pig + 22 ounce bottle of Rogue Shakespeare Stout Gift Box, $48.

I am partial to the location at 951 W Armitage, across from the Armitage Brown Line station; other locations are mentioned on their website.

Treasure Island carries small liqueur glasses made of chocolate so that you can drink a toast in a nice cordial and then eat the glass. A fun touch after your liquor-infused cake (which, if you can't buy one, could easily be made---any chocolate cake, two layers, each layer infused with the liquor of your choice, layers put together with a bag of frozen red raspberries passed through blender or Cuisinart with a little sugar, top layer covered with whipped cream, a little bittersweet chocolate shaved with potato peeler to make curls on top of cream, et, voila).
