Right near 116 st a Chinese food truck that made the little corner seem like China. Offering 肉夹饃 (pork burger, chinese Northwestern style), which was very tender and fatty when I got it yesterday, for $3, and 鹵麵 noodle (stew noodles, for a lack of better word) prepared the way I like, somewhere between pan fried and lo mein style., for $5. good with hot oil.
Want to try: boiled dumplings the northern style and soft soy tofu.

No need to go just for this, but if you are a columbia U student home sick for food, you'll be happy you don't have to go all the way down to Chinatown for simple food.

Sounds good. Is the truck on Broadway or Amsterdam?

It was on the east side of Broadway, not far from the main entrance, south of it.
