Which restaurant or take-out in Brooklyn (ideally Midwood/Flatbush area) has the best shawarma?
Olympic Pita...On Coney between J and K. Not even a close call. Far and away the best laffa.
If the laffa is the most important element of the shwarma to you, then agreed. Their laffa is excellent. Also their soups are not to be missed.
shwarma at Olympic and Pita are on same plane (with slight nod to Olympic). The laffa (freshly baked and not chewy/rubbery) brings the whole enchalada over the top
Well, next time you go have a bowl of soup with that laffa. No particular kind, they're all great.
Pita off the corner east 2nd and p. Always fresh delicious.
Third. (they don't have laffa though if it important to you)
They do have good baguettes, though.
