WINDMILL in Brick RT70 Closed......

Tapas52 May 1, 2013 03:47 PM

Passed by today space is empty, I guess they couldn't compete with the 7/11 next door cheaper hotdog prices ?
I did enjoy the 2 for 1 dogs/burgers on WED Senior day at WM.....
oh well.......

This restaurant was re-opened on May 21. Much nicer staff, very clean and same great Windmill food!! Also delivers in Brick area. New owners have really made this a great place.

Great Hotdogs!, but also have a good selection of alternatives from burgers and cheese fries to a Tuna Steak. Worth a stop.

Do they still have the 2 for 1 dogs Senior special on Wednesdays as before?

They sure do! They also hand out free cookies and cake for Senior day! You don't have to be a senior to get the freebies!

That's just cruel to flaunt it like that.

here's another pic for you jr. Great lunch today at the Brick location!

Chili dog and another with kraut, sweet relish and mustard. Probably didn't need the fries. Chili had a nice kick to it.

That's the kind of deal you pick your father up for and make him go in for you!

In my experiences they are not strict on ID'ing you if you at least come in close.
                      At $4.39 ea. it's worth a shot....& you can mix & match also....Dog/Burger etc, .. ;-)

                        Uh oh......yesterday when I responded it was on my phone, today on my computer I can see a vital flaw in that picture;
You are a ketchup and mustard guy. Oh boy..........I don't know why but I think there should be an unwritten rule, once you are 7 years old or over, you can no longer have ketchup on your hot dog. I'm sorry......I'll give kids a pass......but for the life of me I have never been able to get into the ketchup on a hot dog. Give me a nice bold spicy deli mustard......but no ketchup!!

(just teasing you Tapas, hope you enjoyed)

Actually I'm a Ketchup & Spicy Mustard Guy first then all the spicy stuff else on top... I grew up in Coney Island and had Ketchup & Mustard on my dogs & even on my Fries at Nathans!I only do Just Mustard & Sauerkraut on a good Jewish Deli Dog & wash it down with a Dr Browns Cream Soda.

                          people put ketchup on Fries,........
                          Mustard on a Knish,......
& Brown Gravy on Mashed Potatoes,......
                          They're ALL Potatoes right? .....
                          Go Figure!!
Enjoy what makes you happy... :-)

Westfield one closed a little while ago. I always kind of liked it, but the staff was usually horrendous...

Some kind of strange deli place opened in the location. Looks pretty much the same through the window and I doubt that I'll venture inside!
