Great ATL restaurants, also kid-friendly?

Hi all.. My husband, 2 yr old daughter & I are traveling to Atlanta for the upcoming holiday weekend. Can anyone recommend some great restaurants that are also kid-friendly? Anywhere from "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants to more upscale/fine dining (well, as upscale as we can get w/a 2yo :P).

Thanks in advance!

    1. Atlanta Fish market is a great place for kids (I have a 3 & 1 YO). It's a big, noisy restaurant so no fear if your daughter screams, it won't be noticed. You might also consider Dante's down the Hatch - it's a fondue restaurant, so nothing special for food, but it's literally a pirate ship inside and they have a live aligator living in the water, so it's great fun for kids.

You can also search kid-friendly and find other recs on this board, like bobstripower mentioned. Or if you give us the part of town you're staying in, we can offer close-by options.

Thanks for the recs! We're staying at the Residence Inn downtown, but we don't mind driving anywhere as long as it's good! I was looking into South City Kitchen, JCT Kitchen & Bar as well as Mary Mac's & the Gladys Knight restaurant.. Are the first two kid-friendly at all?

Consider Murphy's too, which will be relatively close to downtown and has been around forever. I see kids there all the time, and it's a loud, relaxed atmosphere. Decatur also is a very family-friendly part of town (park and wander), though I don't get there often enough to recommend any specific spots.

Been a while since I've been to South City, but I'm not sure I would go there with my little ones. Haven't been to JCT.

Awesome I'll definitely look into Murphy's! Decatur sounds like fun too.. There's a downtown area to walk around, I'm guessing? I wonder if many shops will be closed on Memorial Day though..
