Today's nonsense unitasker: The Rollie EggMaster

Dump eggs in, it cooks and extrudes them in a tube. Ridiculous but I can't stop thinking of what else to do with this thing. Hamburger tubes? Long cupcakes? Tiny baguettes?

  1. It is rather fascinating but I wonder if it is really as easy to clean as portrayed. I especially like the image in the video of the woman with a Rollie on her desk!

    1. Wow--my egg cookery is about to do a 180!
      Thanks for the chuckle :)

      1. Reminds me of the egg peeler that Bridget Jones' mother is demonstrating in this scene here from the movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJi4d6...

Aside from the sexual humor, is there really a tool like this which peel boiled eggs? It is interesting.

Cool. Except it has poor review.... so I can only guess it is not so good.

        2. I recall seeing tubes of egg for foodservice applications, basically a long "sausage" of hard boiled egg that allowed for a perfect slice of hardboiled egg for salad presentations. A device that did that might have some - limited - usefulness.

(And it does have some commercial appeal - in Japan at least:

          This one is a stumper.

There are all sorts of gadgets for shaping food in Japan. Bento Box culture is pretty amazing,

          2. Would actually be nice for a dorm room.

            1. Sheesh! They can "stick" it.

              1. Interesting toy. Knowing me, however, I will get bored after awhile.

                1. Wow, an eggsicle! Latest in modern convenience or the end of civilization as we know it?!
