Hi Chowhounders,

We are arriving in Late September and should be at our hotel around 7:00 at the Courtyard Ginza Tokyo Hotel. We were hoping that we could get some suggestions on a really good ramen place that is nearby since it's our first night there as well as an izakaya that we could visit later on in the night.

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

There's also Gogyo for Kogashi Miso Ramen.

I haven't been to all of these, but definitely trust this guy's taste:

And if you're considering going to Jangara but haven't been to Ippudo, I much prefer Ippudo:

You could try your luck at Rokurinsha or Honda at the Ramen Street in Tokyo Station. Otherwise, there is a branch of Kyushu Jangara (http://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1301/A130101/13000570/) near your hotel for really stinky, porky tonkotsu. I found some other promising shops in that general area as well. These were the latest hot ones on RamenDB
