Can you suggest best dining at the wineries near Healesville, Coldstream and Carra Glen area?
Taking Mum, daughters/boyfriends for birthdays...

Giant Steps/Innocent Bystander in Healesville has great food and wine in a really casual environment. The moscato is to die for and their pizzas are great.

My suggestion is to head to the Mornington instead of the Valley. Get to 10xTractor.

if it was just for the food, I would agree but its clearly a family outing and the Valley is better for that

Depends what style you are after and how much you are prepared to spend.

Eleonores at Chateau Yering is the posh old dame, with the more modern Yering Station attached to it. Eleonores has ups and downs, it is very beautiful but the food can vary - haven't been for a couple of years. The bistro has great views and good food, still quite smart.

Giant Steps, Fergusson, De Bortoli, Tarrawarra are all in the middle ground - bit more casual.

And then in Healesville there is the Healesville Hotel, probably my all rounder pick.

Note that what's open depends on when in the year and what day.
