The cooking class at Reed Restaurant in Paris was excellent

The cooking class was the highlight of our Paris stay! It was a small group--six. After making a full course meal we sat down and enjoyed the absolutely sumptuous meal as a group. Catherine is an excellent instructor (highly knowledgeable, patient, perfect English) and makes the experience fun. Her restaurant is in a great neighborhood and close to the Eiffel Tower. Highly recommended.
We had difficulty finding her email, so here it is: catherine.reed@wanadoo.fr

If I may be so bold, what was the cost of a cooking class? We are leaving for Paris next week. We will book a table for dinner, but were interested in the cooking class as well. Thanks!

It was 125 Euro per person and ran from 9:30am to about 3:30pm. We think it was a Wednesday--better email to make sure. Seemed like a bargain. Catherine Reed happily helped me with some of my horrible French pronunciation--double bargain.

Thanks very much! I have sent her an email inquiry with our dates. I assume you got to eat the food you made for lunch? Did you also do a market tour?

Yes, we did eat the food we prepared, as a group, and Catherine Reed sat down with us. She has a helper in the kitchen and he did some setup and helped out--so she had time to sit down and visit. There was not a market tour but she told us where her local market is and we visited there later.
